LW GM: ***LOG START***
LW GM: There is a brief lull in the battle and the frantic beating in your hearts calms enough for you to pay attention to the burning pain of the bites you suffered, and the unnatural tingling sensation traveling along your limbs to your chest. Then as suddenly as it happened, the lull ends and the battle continues.
[OOC] LW GM: You are poisoned and you will each take an additional 1 Endurance Point of damage at the beginning of each combat round. The injuries thus far are Avan -6EP, Levin -4EP, GrimBeard -2EP, and Dust -9EP. At the moment the only exception to the poison damage is Rhavi who is unscathed. Once he is injured, he will also take -1EP damage on subsequent rounds until the poison is dealt with.
[OOC] LW GM: Each of you have four spiders attacking you, again with the exception of Rhavi who only has three since he managed to kill two in the first round.
[OOC] LW GM: We now return you to your regularly scheduled fight for your life, already in progress. CS 8.
[OOC] Rhavi: I also did not take damage in the first round, right?
Avan flays up some spiders for stew! Assuming they prove to be edible.
Avan rolled up Ratio: 11 RNT: 8 Player: 0 Enemy: K
Avan rolled up Ratio: 9 RNT: 4 Player: -2 Enemy: -12
Avan rolled up Ratio: 7 RNT: 4 Player: -2 Enemy: -11
Avan rolled up Ratio: 5 RNT: 6 Player: 0 Enemy: -12
[OOC] Rhavi: ah, there it is..reading helps
[OOC] LW GM: Sadly Avan does not get to go first, but we can have that stand since turn order really doesn't matter all that much.
[OOC] Avan: Yeah, I was a bit nervous about lag delays this time.
LW GM: Avan introduces one spider to his boot, but the remaining three take the opportunity to scurry up his leg and make their presences known.
[OOC] Dust: GB goeth first. Then Dust. Then, spontaneously, time catches up and one of Avan's spider's squashes. Its just one of those things.
[OOC] LW GM: Just so.
[OOC] LW GM: Speaking of… GB, goeth first.
GrimBeard rolled up Ratio: 11 RNT: 0 Player: -3 Enemy: -9
GrimBeard rolled up Ratio: 11 RNT: 0 Player: -3 Enemy: -9
GrimBeard rolled up Ratio: 11 RNT: 3 Player: -2 Enemy: -12
GrimBeard rolled up Ratio: 10 RNT: 6 Player: 0 Enemy: -16
GrimBeard uses Bessie to crush as many of the spiders as he can.
LW GM: With a loud *ka-rack* that makes Rhavi wince GrimBeard slams the but of Bessie down on the deck, leaving an obvious dent in the plank around a very squashed spider. But that brings his hand in range of the other spiders, who do not waste the opportunity.
Dust feels that curious feeling in the depths of his nervous system that confirms that yes, spiders are venomous. It just goes to figure, really.
Dust rolled up Ratio: 11 RNT: 7 Player: 0 Enemy: K ((The NEW Spider 1, who will hopefully be squashed))
Dust rolled up Ratio: 11 RNT: 1 Player: -2 Enemy: -10 ((Spider 1's first twin, who is unharmed))
Dust rolled up Ratio: 9 RNT: 9 Player: 0 Enemy: K ((Spider 1's second twin, who is unharmed))
Dust rolled up Ratio: 7 RNT: 3 Player: -2 Enemy: -10 ((Spider 1's stunt double, who is unharmed))
Levin rolled up Ratio: 9 RNT: 4 Player: -2 Enemy: -12 (A)

Rhavi rolled up Ratio: 8 RNT: 6 Player: 0 Enemy: -14 (spider 1)
Levin rolled up Ratio: 5 RNT: 6 Player: 0 Enemy: -12 (C)
Levin rolled up Ratio: 3 RNT: 5 Player: -2 Enemy: -10 (D)
[OOC] Levin: For this fight, I have 17 CS, so I go before Rhavi.
Rhavi rolled up Ratio: 6 RNT: 2 Player: -3 Enemy: -8 (blood tempest, spider 2)
Rhavi rolled up Ratio: 4 RNT: 8 Player: 0 Enemy: -14 (the one that eats me.)
[OOC] Rhavi: sorry Levin, my err
LW GM: Dust stomps hard with his boot ending one of the small threats, but in doing so he backs up against the rail, allowing him to be attacked from behind.
[OOC] LW GM: Okay, doing math to post everyone's current EP losses. Next round in a few minutes.
[OOC] Levin: Total EP lost for me right now'd be 10, including post-first and post-second round poison damage.
[OOC] Avan: Same, though accounting for immunity to poison here.
[OOC] Dust: Unless some of the spider's knew spider kung fu, or were initiated into the arachnid mystic arts. They might have little arachnid Bor rifles built into each leg.
[OOC] Rhavi: I love the visual imagery….
[OOC] LW GM: Round 3: Avan -10EP, Levin -10EP, GrimBeard -11EP, Dust -14EP, Rhavi -4EP
LW GM: Each of you, save for Avan feels the spider's venom working it's way through your system.
[OOC] Rhavi: Did I kill the both of them or just the one?
[OOC] LW GM: You got two, so you are down to one
[OOC] LW GM: Meaning you can start to help out your colleagues this round since you are all within range of each other.
[OOC] Rhavi: Or I can not get poisoned.
[OOC] Rhavi: more
[OOC] Levin: Pssst. If you take over my spiders for me I can start working on antivenin.
[OOC] LW GM: It's more binary than that. You are poisoned. You will not get more poisoned until after this is cured.
[OOC] GrimBeard: I still have 3, correct?
[OOC] LW GM: Everyone has 3 except for Rhavi. Because he finally get a chance to use his magical cheating powers.
[OOC] Rhavi: So GB first, yes?
[OOC] LW GM: Ayup
GrimBeard rolled up Ratio: 11 RNT: 7 Player: 0 Enemy: K
GrimBeard rolled up Ratio: 11 RNT: 5 Player: -1 Enemy: -16
GrimBeard rolled up Ratio: 11 RNT: 7 Player: 0 Enemy: K
GrimBeard continues to smash the little vermin with the butt end of Bessie.
LW GM: Another *ka-rack* another spider goes off to a Naar afterlife.
[OOC] LW GM: Dust
Dust rolled up Ratio: 11 RNT: 0 Player: -3 Enemy: -9 ((The new NEW Spider 1, who will hopefully be squashed))
Dust rolled up Ratio: 11 RNT: 1 Player: -2 Enemy: -10 ((Spider 1's stunt double, who is unharmed))
Dust rolled up Ratio: 9 RNT: 8 Player: 0 Enemy: K ((Spider 1's first twin, who is unharmed))
Avan grabs two of the remaining spiders upon him and bashes the third between them!
Avan rolled up Ratio: 11 RNT: 0 Player: -3 Enemy: -9
Avan rolled up Ratio: 9 RNT: 6 Player: 0 Enemy: -16
Avan rolled up Ratio: 7 RNT: 9 Player: 0 Enemy: K
[OOC] Levin: Brave soul.
LW GM: Dust's vision is swimming, whether from the injuries directly or from the venom of the spiders he is not sure. Still he is reasonably confident that he crushed one of the little Naar spawn.
Levin rolled up Ratio: 9 RNT: 9 Player: 0 Enemy: K
Levin rolled up Ratio: 7 RNT: 7 Player: 0 Enemy: -16
Levin rolled up Ratio: 5 RNT: 7 Player: 0 Enemy: -14
LW GM: Avan is unable to catch the swiftly darting arachnids, so he settles for smashing the slowest one.
LW GM: Levin strikes gingerly, being very careful to give the spiders no new opportunities to attack.
[OOC] Levin: by my math, all my spiders should now be dead due to ED loss.
[OOC] LW GM: What? It's only been three rounds. Except for Rhavi, you can each only kill one spider a round?
[OOC] Dust: You can only hurt one spider per round. Each spider has 1 END.
Rhavi rolled up Ratio: 8 RNT: 8 Player: 0 Enemy: -18 (last one on me)
Rhavi rolled up Ratio: 10 RNT: 4 Player: -2 Enemy: -12 (on whoever needs it)
[OOC] Avan: I say Dust.
[OOC] LW GM: Everyone needs it..
[OOC] Rhavi: Let's go with dust
LW GM: Rhavi stamps down on his final spider, then twists on that foot to stomp down with his other foot on a spider that was attacking Dust.
[OOC] LW GM: Round 3: Avan -13EP, Levin -11EP, GrimBeard -13EP, Dust -20EP, Rhavi -7EP. Rhavi is spider free and Dust is down to one remaining spider. Everyone else has two of the evil little bastards to deal with.
GrimBeard continues his onslaught on his last two remaining foes.
GrimBeard rolled up Ratio: 11 RNT: 9 Player: 0 Enemy: K
GrimBeard rolled up Ratio: 11 RNT: 4 Player: -1 Enemy: -14
LW GM: GrimBeard strikes so hard that you believe the deck cracks under his onslaught.
Rhavi winces "stop putting holes in my ship!"
[OOC] GrimBeard: hole sin?
[OOC] GrimBeard: Also, you are NOT Cap'n Jack Sparrow!
[OOC] Rhavi: yeah yeah
[OOC] Dust: Yes. He is tired of GrimBeard's half-hearted sinning and wants true commitment.
[OOC] LW GM: Go forth and download, GB. Rhavi so commands.
[OOC] Avan: In the mean time, Dust's turn?
[OOC] LW GM: ^
[OOC] Dust: It is, but I like to wait for the GM's confirm. Makes everything neat. er.
Dust rolled up Ratio: 11 RNT: 7 Player: 0 Enemy: K ((The new NEW Spider 1, who will hopefully be squashed))
LW GM: Dust's hopes are answered as the spider is squashed.
Avan rolls away from one of his remaining spiders, over the other.
Avan rolled up Ratio: 11 RNT: 9 Player: 0 Enemy: K
Avan rolled up Ratio: 9 RNT: 2 Player: -2 Enemy: -10
LW GM: Avan smashes another spider, but you would almost swear that the spider are showing almost human coordination, waiting and striking when you are most vulnerable, when you are attacking.
[OOC] LW GM: Levin, you are a go go.
Levin rolled up Ratio: 7 RNT: 6 Player: 0 Enemy: -14
Rhavi rolled up Ratio: 10 RNT: 0 Player: -3 Enemy: -8 (one for Grim)
Rhavi rolled up Ratio: 10 RNT: 5 Player: -1 Enemy: -14 (one for Levin)
LW GM: As Levin comes in, the spider get one final attack before dying.
LW GM: Rhavi stalks through the killing field, felling tiny tiny bugs left and right.
[OOC] Avan: Avan's the only one with a spider yet, right?
Avan: "Levin! Tend to the poisons while I finish this!"
Levin: "Right!" He disengages, grabbing a spider corpse, as he heads over to his station to produce antivenin.
[OOC] LW GM: Yes. Avan is alone against the final spider.
[OOC] LW GM: Final Round? Avan VS spider
Avan rolled up Ratio: 11 RNT: 7 Player: 0 Enemy: K
Rhavi: "Nasty bastards…" He starts looking over the side to make sure that no spiders were missed.
[OOC] Avan: *throws cap* "OH-kay!"
LW GM: The fight is over, and the deck is covered in ex-spider guts and dents. Someone's going to have to clean the deck and Rhavi is grateful that it's not him.
Avan sets to cleaning up.
Rhavi sits down heavily, the world spinning slightly. Then forces himself to the helm
Dust closes his eyes, slowing his heart rate to inhibit the flow of poison, which is also the same trace that is used to scan the possibilities in the near future.
[OOC] LW GM: The technical term is 'swabbing the deck'. This is a pirate vessel, so we must use nautical nomenclature whenever possible.
Levin: "So Rhavi…while we were handling the spiders, who was steering the ship?"
[OOC] Dust: The spiders.
[OOC] Rhavi: ^
[OOC] Avan: Sure, if someone would inform the poor desertborn of all this fancy nomenclature. :P
Rhavi grits his teeth against the nausea and scans the waters for danger spots, still making for the island
LW GM: A quick scan of the local landmarks shows that you have been caught in an easterly current and have actually gone back, though only about a knot or two. However, that same current is also carrying you directly towards shipwreck point.
LW GM: ***LOG END***
